Goin' to a tea party? how sheepish...

As the conservative movement flounders about like a crappie on the dock, their leaders try to motivate their minions to rally for the rights of the downtrodden - those poor, unfortunate souls who are going to be paying more in taxes under the Obama Administration.
Never mind that the only people getting taxes "raised" are those who are doing quite well, thank you very much. Never mind that the very, very top of the American population has seen it's share of the pie grow to never before seen proportions. And forget the working people, who have seen their real wages go down. Nope, none of that encroaches on the twisted version of reality known as the ultra-conservative mindset.
I wonder how many of the bleating sheep who will protest tomorrow realize they actually got a tax cut? Or even know the tax increases proposed by Obama are nothing more than rolling back tax give-aways previously granted the rich? In my humble opinion, rolling back the Bush tax cuts isn't enough, many of the Reagan cuts need rolled back too. Never convince the conservative foot soldiers, though.
All they need is for fake plumbers (like Joe) or fake governors (like Sarah Palin or Rick Perry or Bobby Jindal) to give them marching orders, and away they go. Protesting their own tax cut! Americans around the country are going to prove that yes, indeed - you can fool some of the people all of the time.
We all use the Commons, and we all should pay for them. We all use the roads, police and fire departments, airports, and everything that is part of what we commonly share. And yes, the rich use a much bigger share. Especially when you figure in the employees that for the most part, give them their wealth through labor.
Personally, I don't expect the "tea parties" to amount to all that much, but that's not the picture you will get if you watch FOX News, of course. Expect that erstwhile network to be wall-to-wall with tea party coverage. Once the tea pots have cooled and the bags are all cleaned up, look for even more Americans to move away from the lunacy that is the American conservative movement.
Instead of going to a silly tea party on April 15th working Americans would be far better served to rally at workplaces in support of labor rights. As for the parties, let the loud ones have their fun, for they know their time is short. The rest of us will go about the business of making America the country it can be.

Or Sheeple like the people who keep say "Bush's tax cuts for the rich" when the tax bracket for the rich was cut the least (39 down to 35%, vs the bottom bracket going from 15% to 10%).
And no, I won't go protest for labor. The successful companies I've worked for have treated me quite well, because through hard work, showing up on time, and treating my employer well, I have good market value. I don't need a union locking in the slacker next to me and trying to make me equal on some stupid pay scale where they get a raise for their 2 hours of work a day equal to me despite me putting in 10 hours. I've seen it first hand, thank you very much.
And the tax parties are not just about taxes. It's about spending and the burden of taxation falling on the top 49% of Americans - to support the other 51% - to pay for that spending. The top 10% already pay 72% of the taxes. How much is enough of the burden for you? 95%? Should all Americans in the bottom 95% of incomes drive on roads, use emergency services, send their kids to school, etc on the backs of the top 5% of Americans?
Should we not be objecting to the deficit that Bush had increased by $1 Trillion in 7 years increasing by 9.3 Trillion at least under Obama, doubling it in ten years from what it is now?
Oh that's right, protesting is OK when the left does it, but when conservatives do it, we're just followers. All the lefties in protests are individuals standing up for what they believe. All the conservatives are just sheeple. It can't be that we possibly have our own convictions.
As for the governors, the ones you listed have the lowest unemployment rates, lowest tax burdens and are handling the economic downturn the worst. Look in Democrat run states like California, New York and Michigan if you want to see what liberal policies do. Those libs answers? Increase spending and drive the rich out of the state with higher taxes! Brilliant NOT!
Watch this to see how you libs look
