Greetings and welcome

Hello to any and all who may come by....I am a writer very concerned with the path the alliance of corporate greed and Christian fundamentalism has put America on. I believe both these groups have the same agenda, an America involved in perpetual warfare for profit and power. An America where the twisted ideals of Christian fundamentalism are the framework for social structure. An America where you are free - to be like them.
My pledge is to fight them, however I can. Join me, and help to secure an America (and world) free of the shackles of mysticsm and corporate superpowers.
I will accept any and all comments, and never apply censorship.

Welcome aboard, Jeff. You always have such a mouthful, I'm surprised you don't have more blogs up. While seeking out and fighting facism (aka the private enterprise system) have you thought about commenting on communism? Or does that hit too close to home?

And S.L....I will be more than happy to do a complete posting about my take on Communism, perhaps later tonight (I'm finishing moving this weekend) but first, let me respond to your calling emerging Fascism "free enterprise." We have a system where "no-bid" really means "buddy-bid," where 20 or 30 year old idealouges dictate policy and parameters to career diplomats and scientists, where a president routinely violates the Constitution he swore to defend, where low-level perpetual war is becoming the norm. Yes, there is "free" enterprise, as long as you play along (or look the other way)

Your text goes hereYour text goes hereI used to think that America was close to fascism. But we weren't there yet, because unlike real fascists, at lease WE didn't torture people. Now, as official government policy, we do. Each week Fox Network's "24" tells us that's a good thing.
If I were elected president (don't worry, I'm not running) the first 4 things I'd do, are: end the Iraq war, revoke the Patriot and Military Comissions Acts, revoke the broadcast license of Fox News. Propaganda isn't news. Then I'd appoint an Attorney General who would enforce the nations anti-trust laws, break up the media conglomerates, and indict for treason every son of a bitch who signed the Project for a New American Century's blueprint for war in the Mid-East.
